[Eng] God is mind. The universe is mental.
From this Hermetic principle, one can deduct that the human mind has a close relationship with the Divine mind. More than that, it can be deduced that the human mind has a close relationship with the Universe. In this way, to interact with the Universe, more useful than having hands and tools is to have an operative mind. And the more conscious and powerful that mind is, the greater will be the interaction with the Universe, and with God.
For this reason, the concept of Egregora is not something difficult to be imagined and understood.
Every thought originating in our minds, and the energy generated by this thought, has an existence and can circulate freely through the Cosmos. The human being is able to put the same creative energies of the Universe, in a greater or smaller scale, in operation, through mental use. Two humans together, working together and using their minds together, will be able to put these same creative energies of the Universe into operation on an even larger scale. And so on, with three, four, five or more people, indefinitely.
The sum of this collective, so to speak, in use of its mental and spiritual faculties, creates a body, or an energetic field, in a plane that is not visible to our eyes, from the energy emitted by this collectivity through its patterns of vibrations. And to this body, or field, we give the name of Egregora.
An Egregora is able to materialize the aspirations transmitted by the generating collectivity. Egregora actively participates in any medium, be it physical or abstract. When energy is deliberately generated, it forms a pattern and tends to remain as it is and to influence the environment around it. Egregoras can be described as energetic concentrations, created when several people have one common goal, use their mind together in the same way and produce such a field or body. The human being can do this consciously or even without realizing it.
Examples of Egregora are countless, infinite, for so is human mental capacity. People attending a mass, participating in ritualistic works in a temple, working in noble causes where they will not necessarily succeed, form an Egregora. But equally, Egegoras are formed even when people do not realize it, as long as they are harmonized with a common flow of thought.
We can visualize effects of Egregoras on the Internet. When we look for images on a particular theme, we can imagine that these images were conceived by people of different places and times, but with common lines of thought and vibrations. That is why the images that we will find, for a certain theme, will keep close characteristics of similarity between them. The judgment of the quality of images, of feelings and of the ideas that they seek to pass to those who see them, the meanings that are present in the illustration, allows us to conclude whether such an Egregora is more or less strong, more or less aligned with noble objectives, and so on.
It is evident that the responsibility for the formation of an Egregora and the effects it generates on the material plane is huge, and people do not always realize it. This is why the Rosicrucians have always sought to produce, nurture and enhance an Egregora that is beneficial to human social and spiritual development.

Deste princípio Hermético, pode-se deduzir que a mente humana guarda estreita relação com a mente Divina. Mais do que isto, pode-se deduzir que a mente humana guarda estreita relação com o Universo. Desta forma, para interagir com o Universo, tão ou mais útil do que ter mãos e ferramentas é ter uma mente operativa. E quanto mais consciente e poderosa for essa mente, maior será a interação com o Universo, e com Deus.
Por este motivo, o conceito de Egrégora não é algo difícil de ser imaginado e entendido.
Todo pensamento originário de nossas mentes, e a energia gerada por este pensamento, têm uma existência e pode circular livremente pelo Cosmo. O ser humano é capaz de colocar as mesmas energias criativas do Universo, em maior ou menor escala, em funcionamento, através do uso mental. Dois seres humanos em conjunto, trabalhando juntos e usando suas mentes conjuntamente, serão capazes de colocar estas mesmas energias criativas do Universo em funcionamento em uma escala ainda maior. E assim por diante, com três, quatro, cinco ou mais pessoas, indefinidamente.
A soma desta coletividade, por assim dizer, em uso de suas faculdades mentais e espirituais, cria um corpo, ou um campo energético, em um plano que não é visível aos nossos olhos, a partir da energia emitida por esta coletividade através dos seus padrões vibracionais. E a este corpo, ou campo, damos o nome de Egrégora.
Uma Egrégora é capaz de realizar no plano material as aspirações transmitidas pela coletividade geradora. A Egrégora participa ativamente de qualquer meio, seja ele físico ou abstrato. Quando a energia é deliberadamente gerada, ela forma um padrão e tem a tendência de se manter como está e de influenciar o meio ao seu redor. As Egrégoras podem ser descritas como concentrações energéticas, criadas quando várias pessoas têm um mesmo objetivo comum, usam sua mente de forma conjunta da mesma forma e produzem tal campo ou corpo. O ser humano pode fazer isso de forma consciente ou mesmo sem se dar conta disto.
Exemplos de Egrégora são incontáveis, infinitos, pois assim o é a capacidade mental humana. Pessoas frequentando uma missa, participando de trabalhos ritualísticos em um templo, trabalhando em causas nobres onde não necessariamente obterão êxito, formam Egrégoras. Mas igualmente, Egrégoras são formadas mesmo quando as pessoas não se dão conta, desde que estejam harmonizadas com um fluxo comum de pensamento.
Podemos visualizar efeitos de Egrégoras na Internet. Ao buscarmos imagens sobre um determinado tema, podemos imaginar que estas imagens foram concebidas por pessoas de diferentes locais e tempos, mas com linhas de pensamento e vibrações comuns. É por isto que as imagens que encontraremos, para um determinado tema, guardarão estreitas características de semelhança entre elas. O julgamento da qualidade das imagens, do sentimento e das ideias que procuram passar a quem as vê, os significados que estão presentes na ilustração, permite concluir se tal Egrégora é mais ou menos forte, mais ou menos alinhada com objetivos nobres, e assim por diante.
Fica evidente que a responsabilidade pela formação de uma Egrégora e dos efeitos que ela gera no plano material, é sobremaneira grande, e nem sempre as pessoas se dão conta disto. É por isto que os Rosacruzes sempre buscaram produzir, alimentar e engrandecer uma Egrégora que seja benéfica ao desenvolvimento social e espiritual humano.
